My trip to Mt. cook

 My experience at mt. cook was an experience I would never forget

......

I arrived in an ebony polished car. Wind was blowing, birds were chirping and the smell of barbecue filled the air.

There were no trees just tall,strong and beautiful mountains filled with chilling,untouched white and beautiful snow and massive,majestic glaciers. White puffy clouds covered the peak of the mountain with the sun just trying to peep through them. A cold breeze flows through my hair. When my family gets out of the shiny, black, polished and clean BMW. Rows of beautiful sunny yellow flowers fill the meadows and the grass long and pretty. Lakes seen at a 

distance with caves which hold many secrets, the whispers of the wind brush the edges of the caves.

The river makes loud splashing sounds while the few tree’s leaves rustle with the wind. It feels like music to my ears as I start my hike to the top. Bridges and roads lead us to the top as we make stone mountains with the round and smooth pebbles laying around. The clouds clear as we move forward. The sun is seen completely now and it shines gracefully on all of us. Other people walk by as we take pictures of the view. The trees create shade around us and the berries of the trees are delicious. My cousins and I roll down the hills and climb the edges of the mountains. We slowly ride up when we hear a loud caw. A bird calls out and many birds follow. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

 The silence is so peaceful and the coves and sand so beautiful. Looking at that view got me realising the difference between pretty and beautiful. I was mesmerised and fascinated by the beauty of untouched nature. We were halfway there when my cousins wanted to explore. So we took a break from hiking, and went to explore. I went near the bushes and found a shocking sight. It was scary but also very exciting. It made me wonder if there were any predators here. I  saw bones! animal bones, maybe a rabbit or a mouse ! I was scared but also very excited.I couldn’t believe my eyes. Then I went back to where the adults were resting and told them  about my weird adventure.After we took a break most of us  were tired so we started heading down but some of us went higher towards the glaciers unfortunately, I didn’t so I can’t say what happened but I’m sure it was breathtaking.

After we reached a nearby cafe we had cheesy, moist, thin crust,salty, cheese and BBQ chicken pizza, saucy Alfredo fettuccine pasta, with cheesy garlic bread.

Then we ambled home.

When we got home, we made s'mores played games and watched the graceful and beautiful sunset. And after everyone slept my mother,my dad,my uncle, my aunt, and my uncle’s friends set out on a drive at night the came near a shimmering lake and saw.......THE MILKY WAY in the angelic,divine, elegant, exquisite, fascinating and fetching sky.
