Summer’s a season of laughter and fun,

Summer’s a season of tanning in the sun,

 

After a busy year of pressure and stress,

A vacation is deserved for trying your best,

Last year was a bore,

So it’s time for new beginnings and time to hit the shore!

                                           

Summer is not a season but a celebration

So go on and party without hesitation,

Hang out with friends till your heart desires,

Don’t take anything too dire,

Try something new

Like surfing or chess

Or do nothing at all 

And just take rest

Cause once summer’s over 

The year restarts,

No more time for playing around ,

No more time for creating new art,

Having fun shouldn’t come at a cost

Be safe and sound,

 and let’s show covid who’s boss!

And we’ll make it rock
